Terms of Service

'We', 'us': the owners and operators of Valentine’s Text.'Service': the SMS (Short Message Service) text-based entertainment service provided by Valentine’s Texts.'

 

Customer', 'you': the person placing an order (in agreement with the Terms of Service) for the Service via the Valentine’s Text site.

 

'Recipient': the person, nominated by the Customer, who will receive text messages via his or her mobile phone as part of the Service.

 

Delivery of the Service

We will ensure that messages sent as part of the Service will be received at the times specified on the order form, or as close to those times as is reasonably possible. We cannot, however, guarantee the performance either of the Recipient's equipment or of his or her mobile network operator. Therefore, there may be an unavoidable delay in receipt of the text messages sent as part of the Service.

 

Charges

There is a one-time charge for using the Service to send text messages to the Recipient's mobile phone. This charge is detailed on the order form and is payable by you. There are no further charges associated with the Service.

 

The Recipient will not be charged by us for receiving the text messages sent as part of the Service.

 

The Recipient's mobile phone operator may apply a roaming charge if the Recipient's handset is not connected to their usual network at the time when the text messages are received. For example, if they are in a foreign country when the texts are delivered.

 

Please contact the Recipient's mobile phone operator for details of their roaming charges.

 

Message content

Pre-written message templates are provided as part of the Service. These templates may be edited, or you may write your own messages from scratch. You are responsible for the content of the text messages sent as part of the Service.

 

Please consider the message content you would like to send before confirming your order. We do not condone the sending of any messages that may cause offence to the Recipient.

 

Replying to text messages

The Recipient will not be able to reply to the text messages sent as part of the Service. We will not be able either to receive or to process any attempted replies.

 

Refunds

You are responsible for all information entered on the order form.

 

Please ensure that all details are accurate before submitting an order for the Service. We will not correct any mistakes made on the order form.

 

If an incorrect mobile phone number is entered on the order form, we will be unable to deliver the Service to the intended Recipient.

 

Refunds can be issued only in circumstances where we did not correctly process information submitted via the order form, and/or neither the Recipient's mobile equipment nor his or her mobile network operator were at fault, yet the text messages sent as part of the Service were not received.

 

Privacy

We respect your privacy: as part of the Service, neither your details nor those of the Recipient will be passed to third-party companies.

 

This is not a subscription service. Neither you nor the Recipient will be contacted as a result of using the Service.
